# MCP server

> Let Claude, Cursor and other AI agents schedule posts and manage your media.

The Autoadify MCP server lets an AI assistant work with your Autoadify account through the [Model Context Protocol](https://modelcontextprotocol.io). Once it's connected, you can ask things like:

* *"What channels do I have connected?"*
* *"Schedule this announcement to LinkedIn and X for Tuesday 9am, with a shorter version for X."*
* *"Import this image and post it to Instagram tomorrow morning."*
* *"What's scheduled for next week? Move Friday's post to Monday."*

**Server URL:** `https://mcp.autoadify.com/mcp` (Streamable HTTP)

It uses the same [API keys](/authentication) as the REST API. Create one in **Settings → Developers**; for an assistant, a key with **Read** and **Publish**, limited to the channels it should use, is a good default.

## Connect your client

<Tabs>
  <Tab title="Claude Code">
    ```bash theme={null}
    claude mcp add --transport http autoadify https://mcp.autoadify.com/mcp \
      --header "Authorization: Bearer aak_live_..."
    ```
  </Tab>

  <Tab title="Cursor">
    Add to `~/.cursor/mcp.json` (or `.cursor/mcp.json` in a project):

    ```json theme={null}
    {
      "mcpServers": {
        "autoadify": {
          "url": "https://mcp.autoadify.com/mcp",
          "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer aak_live_..." }
        }
      }
    }
    ```
  </Tab>

  <Tab title="VS Code">
    Add to `.vscode/mcp.json`:

    ```json theme={null}
    {
      "servers": {
        "autoadify": {
          "type": "http",
          "url": "https://mcp.autoadify.com/mcp",
          "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer aak_live_..." }
        }
      }
    }
    ```
  </Tab>

  <Tab title="Claude Desktop">
    Claude Desktop connects to remote servers through `mcp-remote`. In **Settings → Developer → Edit config**, add:

    ```json theme={null}
    {
      "mcpServers": {
        "autoadify": {
          "command": "npx",
          "args": [
            "-y", "mcp-remote", "https://mcp.autoadify.com/mcp",
            "--header", "Authorization: Bearer aak_live_..."
          ]
        }
      }
    }
    ```

    Restart Claude Desktop afterwards.
  </Tab>

  <Tab title="Other clients">
    Any client that supports remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP with custom headers works. Use the URL `https://mcp.autoadify.com/mcp` and the header `Authorization: Bearer aak_live_...`.
  </Tab>
</Tabs>

## How it behaves

* **Only the tools your key allows.** A read-only key sees no tools that change anything.
* **Publishing is real.** Posts go out on your actual accounts. Good assistants confirm the text, channels and time with you first; if you want to be safe, start with a key limited to one test channel.
* **Same rules as the app.** Platform requirements, plan limits and Autoadify's content policy apply exactly as they do in the app.
* **Same limits as the API.** MCP calls count towards the same [rate limit and monthly quota](/rate-limits).

See all [tools](/mcp/tools).
