# Rate limits

> Per-minute and monthly request limits, by plan.

Limits apply to your **organization**, across all its keys and both the REST API and the MCP server.

| Plan | Requests per minute | Requests per month |
| - | - | - |
| Pro | 60 | 10,000 |
| Team | 300 | 100,000 |
| Enterprise | 1,000 | Unlimited |

Uploading a file's bytes to an upload URL doesn't count; only API calls do.

## Headers

Every response tells you where you stand:

| Header | Meaning |
| - | - |
| `RateLimit-Limit` | Requests allowed per minute |
| `RateLimit-Remaining` | Requests left this minute |
| `RateLimit-Reset` | Seconds until the minute resets |
| `X-Quota-Limit` | Requests allowed this month (absent when unlimited) |
| `X-Quota-Remaining` | Requests left this month |
| `X-Quota-Reset` | When the monthly quota resets |

Going over returns `429` with `rate_limited` or `quota_exceeded` and a `details.resetsAt` time. Counting is shared across our servers and settles within a couple of seconds, so you may occasionally get a few requests past the limit.

Your monthly usage is also shown in **Settings → Developers**.

## Plan limits on content

Separately from request limits, your plan's limits in the app still apply: posts per month and media storage (5 GB). Going over returns `409 limit_reached`.
